About the Role
D2Solar is seeking an Engineer Program Manager to join our growing team and lead cross-functional execution of solar product development programs from concept through production. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and customer delivery—owning timelines, risk management, technical coordination, and clear communication to ensure projects stay on track and meet customer requirements.
You’ll work closely with internal engineering and operations teams as well as external stakeholders to drive alignment, unblock execution, and ensure D2Solar delivers world-class specialty solar modules to cutting-edge technology companies worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end execution of engineering programs, from kickoff through prototype builds, validation, and production readiness.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent programs.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and test/validation teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external program updates, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
- Identify program risks early and drive mitigation plans, including technical, schedule, cost, and supply chain risks.
- Drive accountability through structured check-ins, action item tracking, and issue escalation when needed.
- Partner with engineering leads to define scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria for customer-driven deliverables.
- Support design reviews and readiness gates by ensuring documentation, inputs, and decision-making are complete and on time.
- Ensure smooth handoff between product development and manufacturing by aligning on build readiness, process needs, and quality expectations.
- Support continuous improvement of program management systems, templates, and execution workflows across the organization.
- Uphold D2Solar’s collaborative, learning-driven approach to innovation and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience in program management, project management, engineering execution, or a related technical management role.
- BS/MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Aerospace) or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to drive clarity and alignment across teams.
- Strong organizational skills, including structured planning, action tracking, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a small-team environment and contributing to company growth.
- Willingness to work on-site in a 9/80 schedule, with some flexibility for hybrid arrangements.
- Experience in solar, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, or similar industries preferred.
